More info about Butterfly Amultart Carbon ZL

It is an exceptional high-end table tennis blade from Butterfly. Its excellence is well known for advanced offensive hard-hitters. It offers you incredibly fast speed with monstrous spin. So it is great for all smash, drive, loop, and chop. It features reasonably great control when compared to other super fast speed and heavy spin blades.

However, due to its super-fast speed and unforgiving characteristic, this blade requires somewhat advance skill to use. It works great with various famous mid-soft rubbers, such as Butterfly Tenergy. It is recommended for advanced all-round to offensive players who have a very high budget.

For players who love to play forehand looping, this Amultart is ideal for them as it can offer them good looping. You can play closer to the table with your backhand to carry out a fast attack style. The blade is fast but still controllable.

When performing a blocking stroke, it is relatively easy for you to do so, but you may need to do a little control with the right angle.

The Butterfly Amultart Carbon ZL is a blade that featured the right speed and incredible control. It is a fast blade suitable for an offensive player.

My Experience With The Blade

Control

The control is excellent, and this is the most significant advantage of the Butterfly Amultart blade. It is a solid blade that can give you excellent elasticity. You can have good control over the ball.

You can use the blade to play either close or far distance from the table. It won’t take you a long time to adapt to the blade. Once you hold it in your hand and play some games, you will get used to it. You will know how good the control it can give you.

Elasticity

The elasticity performance is quite okay, just a little twist and unstable. Like a car sometime hit a small bumpy road and can turn the wheel a little bit. I feel about the blade because it is like you are wearing a tight-fitting dress, which makes you unable to stretch comfortably. Other than this, the blade is excellent and can let you play precisely.

Speed

The elasticity is just medium, so the speed is relatively poor as well. You won’t be able to make a killing with one shot. You will need to play on a few rallies to score a point.

However, because of the excellent control, there is an advantage in getting ahead of the game. It would be best if you tried to get leading first during gameplay, like that you will stand an excellent chance to win the game.

Spin

The spin is not so ideal. It can’t compare at all for its spin with the DHS blades. When I use it to play in the game, no matter how I serve and how I make the shots with the blade, the friction is quite deep. Perhaps, for this reason, I feel that all the carbon blades are poor in spin, much worse than the blade made out of wood.

Power

No matter how much force I exert, I always have a hollow feeling when the ball is in contact with the blade. Maybe this is because my playing skill is not so good.

For driving, the blade can drive the ball very good. It is not easy to make mistakes with this.

Looping

By holding this blade in hand, I can generate a fast spin to the ball when playing looping. Even though the blade is harder compared to others, but it can grip the ball very efficiently.

If you hit the ball with a slow shot or you try to flick it, the shot can be slow and accurate. If you make a power loop, you will get a lot of spin with very decent speed.

Consistency

Because it is a carbon blade, the sound is quite crisp when it hits the ball. It is a much better sound generated compared to the pure wood blade.

If playing with a pure wood blade, the speed it offers is generally very fast but is slow in driving. I think this is the effect of carbon blade plus soft rubber. When hitting the ball, the soft rubber can give you a tacky feel, and the crisp hard blade can quickly pop the ball out.

I think this is not the ball’s speed but is the short stay of the ball on the blade. In this way, consistency is fast.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Butterfly Amultart is a well-controlled and very consistent blade. However, the spin is not that fast. When I use it, it just doesn’t bring me the surprise as the DHS Hurricane blades do.

This blade can do a short game just as good as other blades, and you need to taste for what this blade offers to you. This blade is a perfect fit for all-round offensive players.
