Tibhar Samsonov Carbon Review

Are you looking for a blade that can give you high performance and high speed? The Tibhar Samsonov Carbon is the blade that can offer you such features.

Tibhar is a renowned table tennis brand in the market. The company was established in 1969 by Tibor Harangozo (Tibhar). Many players are relish with products released by Tibhar, as the company keeps on churning out top quality items to improve the playing experience of the game.

This high-tech offensive blade features an unparalleled combination of woods: three extra-light kinds of wood combined with two plies of carbon. The result is shocking.

When the player hits the ball at high speed, the racket with the carbon layer gives a massive ball’s feel. And it can enhance the player’s ability to control the ball. Although the blade is light and thin, it has a very outstanding elasticity.

Great Speed of Tibhar Samsonov Carbon Racket

If you are searching for a racket that can provide you with high performance and a lot of speed, then this Tibhar Samsonov Carbon racket will suit your needs well. Tibhar develops this racket in association with Belarus’s famous ping pong player, Vladimir Samsonov.

Tibhar Samsonov Carbon

This 7-ply blade emphasizes the playability that embodies Vladimir Samsonov for more than two decades. You will have a great feel while holding the bat. It can offer you immense control and good placement in playing the blocking stroke.

The bat is especially ideal for players who love to play top spins to make an unlimited spin variation. You can adjust your speed, and the bat can have excellent control on the ball with quick shot decisively.

The combination of wood and carbon makes the racket thrill you with its exceptional quality and high-quality materials. The racket is made with specially refined woods, and it is very comfortable to hold in your hand.

A Lightweight Blade

I have tried to play ping pong with this racket, and I found it can perform exceptionally well with the combination of hard rubbers like the Evolution EL-P rubber. The blade alone is relatively lightweight as it only weighs 93g.

However, you shouldn’t use a tacky rubber to attach to this blade as this is considered a non-looping blade. You may feel disappointed if you try to play looping with it, as the blade may offer you bad control.

A Blade That is Built For Advanced Players

Tibhar Samsonov Carbon is a blade that is suitable for advanced players. It can offer active force and attack. It is suitable for players who like to swing their blades earlier than the opponent.

Moreover, when the force is strong, the racket will feel stiffer. It will give you the “directivity” and “stability” for your shot.

When we were playing in a match, we not only played with long loops or blocks, we also needed to lob the ball close to the net and smash for the high ball. So, how do we play all these strokes with Tibhar Samsonov Carbon, which is very tacky?

Tibhar Samsonov Carbon is a blade that is only suitable for advanced players. You need to know how to use the body to control the dwell time when the ball stays on the racket. When you need to play a quick shot, you need to concentrate on your power. All these require a certain skill level, which beginners will not be able to perform.

Drawbacks

The carbon handle of Tibhar Samsonov Carbon is relatively round, flat, and wide. It is quite different from the Timo Boll blade. It is also flatter than Innerforce.

In a nutshell, I think that the handle of this blade is not very good. The handle is too broad, and changing the stroke from the forehand to the backhand is not very flexible.

Besides, the rubber traction is too good, the dwell time of the ball on this blade can be a bit long. Because of this, you need to extends your arm further to return the shot.

My hand is relatively small. When I extend my arm further, the palm muscles get pull causing it to lose some strength. I need to exert more strength with my palm to grip the racket. After holding the blade to play for a game, the palm muscles will feel a little strained.

Ideal Blade For Playing Killing Shot

If you love to play killing shots, fast blocking, easy pushing, and smashing, then this Tibhar Samsonov Carbon once again is ideal for you due to the blade’s features with a stiff hard, and low throw.

There is no vibration when I use it to do some shots. The sweet spot seems to be spread across the entire blade surface. The price is quite reasonable, and you can afford to get one. It can only offer you decent control but with excellent speed.

However, you should avoid using a tacky rubber on this blade. The recommend rubber would be Tenergy 05 or Xiom Omega V, which can give you good performance.

If you are interested in getting this racket, I would recommend you to buy the racket and the rubber together to get some discount for the combined purchase, and you can save some money to spend on other equipment. This blade is uncompromising, and it’s the blade for players who wish to dominate the shot for the game of table tennis.

If you are looking to buy this blade, you can get it from Amazon.
